Ruth Moschner and Tina Ruland criticize German parties amid rising political discontent

Television presenter Ruth Moschner used her Instagram account, followed by about 370,000 users, to warn AfD supporters that the party’s promises are financially unrealistic and that “rassistische, antisemitische, menschenfeindliche Pläne” could endanger their own safety. She warned, “Wer garantiert euch, dass ihr nicht die nächsten seid, die die AfD loswerden möchte,” and added that “Menschenhass und Ausgrenzung werden aber niemals Wohnraum schaffen, sondern Krieg und Elend.” Moschner also expressed disappointment with the established democratic parties, saying they have not always acted democratically.

Actress Tina Ruland, speaking at a Berlin Emmy‑related event, placed the blame for Germany’s “extremst beängstigend” political climate on the traditional “Altparteien” (CDU/CSU, SPD, FDP). She claimed politicians “haben keine Ehre und kein Gewissen mehr” and cited the mask‑contract scandal involving former Health Minister Jens Spahn as an example of systemic misconduct. Ruland’s remarks, such as “Wir werden nur noch angelogen,” called for a return to genuine accountability and for politicians to listen to citizens.
