German adult education centers launch new seasonal programs

Adult education centers in Germany are launching new seasonal programs focused on health, movement, and social engagement.

In the Wartburgkreis region, the Volkshochschule is offering various courses in Eisenach, including Latin dance sessions covering salsa, bachata, and merengue. Additionally, the center provides Qigong training focused on the 18 health exercises to support immunity and stress reduction, alongside fitness mix workouts.

In Schaumburg, the Volkshochschule is expanding its ‘Bildungsclub Schaumburg’ to Bad Nenndorf. This program for seniors meets twice weekly to combine gentle movement training with diverse educational topics such as language, society, and culture. The initiative aims to foster social connections and mental fitness through memory training and varied subject matter.
