German Air Force officer accused of filming minors

A high-ranking German Air Force lieutenant colonel is under investigation for allegedly filming minors in intimate situations. The Frankfurt (Oder) Public Prosecutor's Office has been investigating the case since November 2024.

According to reports, the officer is accused of hiding a camera in a fake plant in the bathroom of a home he shared with his then-partner. The camera was reportedly positioned to view the shower, bathtub, and sink. The victims include his stepdaughters, who were aged 14 and 17 at the time, and potentially other minors.

The suspect allegedly admitted to the actions in chat logs, describing himself as “porn-addicted.” Despite the allegations and the discovery of the device by his former partner, reports indicate the officer has remained in his position, potentially due to a period of rehabilitation.
