German amateur clubs Hungerbach and Burggen/Bernbeuren drop to lower leagues after playoff losses

In the Bavarian amateur football relegation playoffs, SG Hungerbach were defeated 0‑3 by TSV Mittenwald in the second leg on 7 June 2026, confirming their drop to the A‑Class. Goals came in the 74th, 81st and 84th minutes (Rieger, Rieger, Rotter). Trainer Gerhard Bertl lamented the result, describing it as a “mirror of the whole season.” The match was attended by 534 spectators.

TSV Burggen/Bernbeuren won their second‑leg replay against OTTERFING 1‑0 with a volley by Lory in the 31st minute, but the 0‑3 deficit from the first leg proved too large. The side therefore also fell to the Kreisklasse after just one season in the Kreisliga. Coach Patrick Landes highlighted the lack of confidence that prevented a comeback. The game drew 483 fans.
