German Art Exhibitions Feature Lechner, Stanke and Schönherr
The Galerie Renate Bender in Munich will host a two‑generation exhibition of works by Alf Lechner and younger artist Marco Stanke from 4 July to 2 October 2025. The show, curated by Dr Dominik Bais, highlights Lechner’s centennial legacy and Stanke’s spatial paintings, and includes special opening hours during the Open Art Munich Gallery Weekend (4‑6 July).
Meanwhile, Galerie Meinlschmidt in Stuttgart opened "Das Flüstern der Reste", presenting the latest series by Dietmar Schönherr. Over 100 visitors attended the inaugural event, with an introduction by Dr Kai Hohenfeld and a musical performance by soprano Dominique Dethier. Schönherr’s collages, inspired by Arte Povera, transform found materials into striking, tactile compositions.
