German athletes dominate Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix in Chaux-Neuve

The Summer Grand Prix of Nordic Combined in Chaux-Neuve, France, concluded with significant victories for both German and Austrian athletes.

In the men's competition, Germany achieved a podium sweep. Manuel Faißt secured his first Grand Prix victory during his final summer season before retirement. He was followed by teammates David Mach in second place and Richard Stenzel in third. David Mach also claimed the overall Summer Grand Prix title with a 19-point lead over Faißt. Richard Stenzel distinguished himself in the jumping portion, winning the segment with a jump of 111.5 meters and earning the blue jersey for the best jumper.

In the women's competition, Katharina Gruber of Austria and Fabio Obermeyr of Austria also secured career-first Grand Prix wins. Germany's Nathalie Armbruster performed strongly, finishing second in the race and third in the overall standings.
