German athletes secure victories at sporting events in Crete

German athletes achieved significant success at sporting competitions held in Agios Nikolaos, Crete. In high diving, Maike Halbisch secured victory at the Agios Nikolaos Cliff Diving event with 370.95 points, finishing ahead of European champion Nelli Chukanivska and Eleanor Smart. Halbisch described it as the best competition of her career, noting her high level of consistency. In the men's category, Jan Wilko Heinzel took first place with 340.65 points.

Simultaneously, the Paddle Europe Stand Up Paddling European Championships took place from September 18 to 20. The German team earned two European titles, including a gold medal for Martin Teichmann in the Master 40+ 100-meter sprint. Additionally, Marlon Cem Daskiran secured a bronze medal in the junior sprint category.
