German basketball clubs prepare for new season starts

Several German basketball clubs are preparing for the start of their new seasons. TSV 1880 Wasserburg will begin its season on October 3 with a series of matches involving its youth and amateur teams, including the U10, U12, U14 female, U16 female, and the Men's 2 team.

Meanwhile, TV 1881 Altdorf is entering a historic season as its men's team competes in the Bayernliga for the first time following a recent promotion. To prepare for this higher level of competition, the club has maintained much of its promotion-winning squad while adding new players such as Jack Okollo, Matthew Atewe, Emilio Eichner, Alexander Raum, and Roman Geyer. The team also features 17-year-old U19 Bundesliga player Leo Schmidt via a dual license.
