German Battery-Powered Chainsaws: Deal on Einhell Model and Parkside Test Winner

Amazon’s current offer in Germany lists an Einhell battery‑powered chainsaw for €82.49, including the battery and charger. The tool is part of Einhell’s Power‑X‑Change ecosystem, allowing the battery to be used with other devices. Safety features highlighted are a chain brake, automatic chain lubrication, a chain‑catch bolt and a metal clamping guard.

In a separate consumer‑test, IMTEST evaluated six cordless chainsaws and named the Parkside PAGHS 20‑Li C3, sold by Lidl, as the best value. The Parkside model uses a 20 V, 4 Ah battery that must be purchased separately, bringing the total cost to about €90. It received praise for strong cutting performance, a built‑in spring‑tension chain system and hand‑ and blade‑guards, though the battery and charger are not bundled.

Both pieces illustrate the growing emphasis on affordable, battery‑compatible garden tools in the German market, with manufacturers focusing on interchangeable power platforms and safety mechanisms.
