German blues‑rock bands Andreas Diehlmann and Schneckenkönich launch new albums

Andreas Diehlmann, a German blues‑rock singer‑guitarist, discussed his upcoming studio album, noting a straightforward blues‑rock style with rock‑driven ballads. He highlighted the impact of new drummer Martin Gunkel on the band’s sound, adding more punch. The album cover photo was taken on a small street behind a skate hall in Kassel, using a digital rain machine for effect.

Leipzig‑based group Schneckenkönich released their second album, “Alright,” an eight‑track collection that blends raw Americana, blues and psychedelic influences while staying true to their working‑class hippie aesthetic. The limited‑edition vinyl features artwork by Clay Claim and a cardboard box design by Phillip Janta, aiming at fans of honest, unpretentious rock.
