German botanical gardens to host summer cultural events

Various cultural events are scheduled to take place in German botanical gardens during the summer of 2026.

On August 16, 2026, the Rombergpark Botanical Garden in Dortmund will host ‘Literatur an der Moorkate’. Organized by Melange e. V. in cooperation with the Auslandsgesellschaft, the free event features readings, music, and theatrical walks at the Moorkate amphitheater. Featured performers include the Martin Brödemann-Trio and several regional authors.

On August 29, 2026, the Botanischer Erlebnisgarten Altenburg will hold a wine evening. The event includes live acoustic music by Resonanthertzsession, dancing led by Anja Losse from Tanzraum Altenburg, and culinary offerings such as wine, snacks, and grilled food.
