German broadcasters RTLZWEI and ZDF announce week 28 programming updates

RTLZWEI will begin airing new episodes of the social‑reportage series "Hartz und herzlich – Tag für Tag Rostock" on 28 July 2026 at 20:15, with episodes available seven days earlier on RTL+. The show follows residents of Rostock facing everyday challenges at the edge of the subsistence level.

ZDF’s week 28/26 schedule, effective 10 July, includes live FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcasts (quarter‑finals and other matches) from Berlin and Los Angeles, a women’s Nations League match between Germany and the Netherlands from Belgrade, and a shift in the airing dates of the crime series SOKO Leipzig. Additional programmes such as sport studio analysis, documentaries and entertainment slots are also listed.
