German Bundestag members host school visit and gather regional soil for Reichstag art project

CSU Bundestag member Florian Oßner met with 35 students and three teachers from the Staatliche Realschule Landshut in Berlin, answering questions about parliamentary work, personal life and recent investments in his home region, including a €50 million hydrogen centre in Pfeffenhausen.

SPD Bundestag member Stefan Schwartze launched a campaign to collect 50 kg of soil from the Herford‑Bad Oeynhausen constituency for the 25‑year anniversary of the “Der Bevölkerung” art installation in the Reichstag’s north light‑court, inviting residents, clubs and businesses to contribute a kilogram each by 4 September.
