German Chancellor Meets Macron in Week of Strengthened Franco‑German Ties

During a week of intensive Franco‑German cooperation, German Chancellor Friedrich Merc and French President Emmanuel Macron held four joint ministerial meetings, culminating in a summit at Augustusburg Castle in Brühl, North‑Rhine Westphalia.
