German charity events raise over €26 million for children

In Fürth, organizer Martha Dorr held the seventh "Essen für Bildung" benefit dinner, drawing about 100 guests to the city hall and raising €12,500. The event featured an auction that generated €1,950, with proceeds distributed to local youth groups, the DLRG swim program, the Kleeblatt fürs Leben foundation, the music school, a mother‑child shelter and a parental association.

In Berlin, the Bild e.V. "Ein Herz für Kinder" summer party at Café am Neuen See gathered dozens of celebrities, including Wladimir Klitschko, Christian Lindner and Capital Bra. The gathering thanked supporters of the children’s aid organization, whose annual December gala last year collected €26,158,736 for medical, educational and disaster‑relief projects worldwide.
