German children's education camps draw 100+ participants in 2026

In May 2026, a four‑day Ferienlerncamp was held at Haus 49 on Mittnachtstraße, funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). Around 25 children from preparation classes took part in learning sessions, LEGO‑based projects, sports and an outing to the urban sports area Öschi.

Later in 2026, the PerspektivFabrik in Brandenburg an der Havel hosted a week‑long KidsCamp for over 100 children from Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg‑Vorpommern. The camp’s theme, “The wondrous world of Cyberia,” combined digital‑game storytelling with activities such as SUP paddling, climbing, team sports, craft workshops and a night‑time lake torch‑tour.
