German cities undergo municipal leadership changes

In Frankfurt am Main, Bastian Bergerhoff is stepping down as treasurer following changes in the local coalition. After five years in office, the position is being transferred from the Green Party to the CDU as part of a coalition agreement. Bergerhoff, a former IT professional, served as a financial and personnel official, focusing on organizational restructuring and administrative efficiency during his tenure.
