German clubs impose bans after pre-game brawl and district derby violence

Dynamo Dresden said it has issued 69 house bans targeting supporters involved in a pre-arranged brawl between fans of Dynamo Dresden and 1. FC Nürnberg. The bans apply from the upcoming home match against VfL Bochum and will run at least until the end of the season, covering games at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. The measures concern the events from the night before the away fixture in Nürnberg, according to the club; the information had been reported earlier by Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk.

For the Bezirksderby between Chemnitz FC and FC Erzgebirge, hundreds of police were deployed, and authorities are investigating multiple rioters, including alleged attempts at dangerous bodily harm, amid incidents of pyrotechnics and property damage at the match.
