German lower-division clubs announce July preseason test matches

Several German lower‑division football clubs have published their July preseason schedules. FC Union Heilbronn (the ADLER) will play a series of test games, starting on 4 July against Schwäbisch Hall and ending on 8 July versus 1 FC Bruchsal, with two regional cup rounds planned between 18 July and 8 August.

Karlsruher SC (KSC) faces VfB Gaggenau on 4 July as part of its RegioTour, followed by another friendly on 9 July against SGV Freiberg before a summer training camp in Austria.

SV Wehen Wiesbaden opened its summer preparation on 5 July with a home match against TuS Medenbach, offering low‑priced tickets and family discounts, and will head to an Austrian training camp later in the month.

FC Homburg began its preseason with a 3‑1 victory over FC Emmelshausen‑Karbach on 4 July, noting several player absences and outlining upcoming friendlies against Karlsruher SC U‑23 and SV Wehen Wiesbaden.

Separately, 1 FC Frankfurt (formerly FC Vorwärts Frankfurt/Oder) lodged an appeal against its assignment to the Oberliga Süd, arguing that the travel increase of roughly 2,700 km and an estimated €15 000 extra cost would strain the club, and requested placement in the Oberliga Nord.
