German Communities Donate Over €46,000 to Youth Programs in Ludwigsburg and Unstrut‑Hainich

Sixteen Catholic parishes in the Ludwigsburg district raised €46,737.72 for the Kinderstiftung Springinsfeld, which will channel the money into local projects for children and teenagers, including nature‑experience programmes and future reading initiatives. The donation was presented at a ceremony where church officials highlighted the need to support the one‑fifth of Baden‑Württemberg children living in poverty.

In the neighboring Unstrut‑Hainich-Kreis, the youth fire brigade in Kirchheim received a €300 contribution from the firm Boreas. The funds are earmarked for the brigade’s annual camp, where about 30 youngsters earned fire‑flame badges, practiced fire‑fighting drills and enjoyed team‑building activities.
