German community donors give €2,000 to Mallersdorf Clinic and €1,000 to Cottbus children's hospital
Siblings Petra Bauer‑Müller and Josef Klebensberger from Allkofen marked a birthday by requesting donations for the Mallersdorf Clinic in Bavaria. Their appeal initially raised €1,450, which they increased to €2,000. The amount was formally presented to staff of Station 12, including station manager Peter Fuchs and administrative director Bernhard Fürst.
In Cottbus, the pharmacy at Klinikum, owned by Antje Wienhold, organized a calendar fundraiser that gathered €760 and then topped up the total to €1,000. The sum was handed to Dr. Holfeld of the Children’s Clinic of the Medical University of Lusatia – Carl Thiem to support the clinic’s “clown‑talk” sessions that provide entertainment and distraction for young patients.
