German community groups donate €6,000 to regional hospitals

Local companies Büter Bau and J+B Küpers each contributed €2,500 to the Kinderklinik Nordhorn, delivering a total €5,000 donation to the Euregio‑Klinik Nordhorn’s children’s ward after a planned bungee‑jump fundraiser was cancelled. Representatives of the companies, the local tourism office and the clinic’s support association attended the hand‑over.

The Heimat‑ and Geselligkeitsverein Almfrieden in Weiden allotted €1,000 to the Kliniken Nordoberpfalz AG, splitting the amount between the newborn unit 32 for baby warming lamps and the palliative care unit. The donation was presented by the club’s chairman and officers, with thanks from the hospital’s perinatal and palliative department heads.
