German community summer festivals attract hundreds in Rosenheim and Munich

The Rosenheim Bürgerstiftungen held its traditional summer fest on July 23 2026 in the courtyard of the Alte Druckerei. Around 100 guests, including donors, volunteers and partners, gathered as chairwoman Almuth Aicher thanked attendees for their support of projects such as Bridge15, Leben mit Krebs and community meals.

In Munich’s Perlach district, the Perlacher Herz association hosted a larger summer fest on July 30 2026. About 1,000 visitors enjoyed music, food and activities, with the cult band Dschinghis Khan providing the main entertainment. Bundestag member Dr. Wolfgang Stefinger presented a €2,500 donation from the Baker Tilly Foundation to fund a homework‑support program in Sendling.
