German companies Dibella and HB Protective Wear have received high sustainability ratings from EcoVadis, a global provider of business sustainability assessments.
Dibella, based in Bocholt, achieved a Platinum medal with a score of 87 out of 100. This ranking places the company within the top 1% of all assessed businesses. The company noted that sustainability is deeply integrated into its corporate strategy and uses the rating to increase transparency for partners and improve supply chain processes.
HB Protective Wear, a manufacturer of personal protective equipment based in Thalhausen, reached Silver status with a score of 74 out of 100. This achievement places the company among the top 15% of assessed companies globally. Key drivers for this improvement included advancements in sustainable procurement and the company’s decision to join the UN Global Compact, which positively impacted its scores in environment, ethics, and labor and human rights.
