German courts issue probation and detention in separate child sexual abuse cases

A 46‑year‑old man from Pliening was sentenced by the Amtsgericht Ebersberg to a suspended prison term for sexual abuse of a child without physical contact after masturbating in front of a ten‑year‑old son while a Christmas film played on TV.

In a separate case, a 35‑year‑old man was placed in custody in Oberkochen on suspicion of sexually abusing two nine‑year‑old boys in the changing rooms of the Kocherbad swimming pool. He was arrested by the Aalen police and transferred to a penitentiary.
