German crime program to feature two unsolved investigations

The German television program ‘Aktenzeichen XY... ungelöst’ will feature two major unsolved criminal cases in its upcoming broadcast on September 9.

In Lampertheim, investigators are seeking information regarding the 2024 murder of a 36-year-old teacher. The victim was found stabbed to death in a forest approximately 1.2 kilometers from a parking lot where she had parked her car. Authorities are investigating the possibility that the perpetrator was a seasonal worker who may have since left the country. The Darmstadt public prosecutor's office has offered a reward of 5,000 euros for information leading to an arrest.

In Karlsruhe, authorities are investigating the case of 15-year-old Miguel K., who fell nine meters from a bridge in the Durlach district in February 2025. While the victim initially suffered life-threatening injuries and a long coma, investigators have now upgraded the case to suspected attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm. A reward of up to 5,000 euros is also being offered for witnesses who can provide information regarding the incident.
