Julia Brunjes releases new crime novel set on Spiekeroog

Julia Brunjes has released a new crime novel titled ‘Muschelmord auf Spiekeroog’ through Klarant Verlag. Set on the East Frisian island of Spiekeroog, the story follows investigators Frauke and Christian Frerich.

The plot begins when the siblings discover a body on the beach during a morning jog. The victim, Marit Claaßen, was a member of the ‘Nordseeperlen’, a group that meets annually on the island to create jewelry from shells. As the investigators probe the group, they encounter significant tension among the members and uncover a dark secret from the past that leads them to the killer.
