German cultural traditions celebrated in Argentine localities

Localities in Argentina held traditional celebrations honoring German heritage. In Arboledas, the 9th German Flavor Festival was organized by the Association of German Descendants and the local municipality. The event featured artisan markets, traditional music, and dance performances by the Ballet De la Dulce Vida. Gastronomic competitions were a highlight, with María Vicente de Beratz winning the Achtzig Schläge cake category and Silvia Kirsch winning the Strudel contest.

In Leandro N. Alem, the Germanic Games took place at the Ricardo Balbín Sports Complex as part of the 50th Provincial Beer Festival. Eleven mixed teams participated in challenges testing strength, coordination, and teamwork. Mayor Matías Sebely emphasized that the games serve to strengthen local identity and foster intergenerational community connection. The event concluded with the Grupo Élite taking first place in the competition.
