Senior Woman's Necklace Stolen at Würzburg Cemetery, Police Seek Witnesses
On Thursday morning at the Würzburg Hauptfriedhof, a 67‑year‑old German senior was approached by two young men. One of the men allegedly bumped the woman and snatched the necklace she was wearing. The suspect is described as about 170 cm tall, slim, around 20 years old, with short black hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black joggers. A second man, about 180 cm tall, also around 20, with short black hair, wearing a white sweatshirt and black trousers, was seen but police believe he was not involved; he may still provide useful information.
Police also noted a white utility vehicle heading toward the Ölberg area shortly before the incident. The Würzburg criminal police have opened an investigation and are asking anyone who observed the theft or the vehicle to contact them at 0931/457‑1732.
