German delegation visits Ubatuba to strengthen international ties
A delegation of authorities and students from the German municipalities of Homberg (Efze) and Wolfhagen will visit Ubatuba, Brazil, from October 24 to 30. The visit, themed “Laços de amizade e cooperação” (Bonds of friendship and cooperation), aims to promote exchange and cooperation in education, culture, the environment, and public policy.
The scheduled activities include institutional meetings and visits to various local sites. The delegation will explore natural heritage and sustainable tourism in the northern region, visit the Caçandoca quilombola community school to learn about local traditions, and meet with the Coordination of Policies for Indigenous Peoples (CPPI) at the Boa Vista Indigenous Village.
Claudinei dos Santos, the Municipal Secretary of Education, noted that the exchange provides an opportunity to showcase Ubatuba’s educational work and traditional communities while gaining international knowledge and perspectives.
