Sportalm’s chief designer Uli Ehrlich notes that the focus is shifting to the neckline, with hand‑crafted details becoming the centerpiece of the garment. At the same time, Lodenfrey senior buyer Gabriele Hammerschick points to a broader material palette that includes robust linen, jacquard and toile‑de‑jouy, while silk usage declines. Skirt lengths remain traditional, ranging from 70 to 80 cm.

Overall, the trend mix blends heritage craftsmanship with modern, high‑impact aesthetics, influencing not only the Oktoberfest look but also broader German festive and wedding attire.
