German discount carriers roll out low‑cost 5G data bundles

Sparsim has launched a WM‑Tarif that provides 35 GB of 5G data on the Vodafone network for €6.99 per month. The offer includes a €50 bonus for number port‑in, a two‑year contract, no activation fee, speeds up to 50 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload, and unlimited calls and SMS. After the data cap is reached the speed is reduced to 32 kbps.

Aldi Talk is promoting yearly 5G packages that deliver up to 500 GB of total data. Customers can pay a one‑off fee (e.g., €149 for the 500 GB plan) and receive an additional 50 GB bonus when signing up before 5 July 2026. The plans include unlimited calls and SMS, EU roaming, and download speeds of up to 100 Mbps. Data is usable over the full 365‑day period rather than monthly installments.
