German divers miss medals at Paris European Championships

At the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, Germany's male synchronized tower pair Luis Carlos Avila Sanchez and Jaden Eikermann finished fifth, scoring 392.43 points after a mistake dropped them from a silver‑contending position. In the women's 3‑metre springboard, Lena Hentschel placed fifth and Jette Müller sixth, both falling short of the podium. The gold in synchronized diving went to the neutral‑flag Russian duo Nikita Schleicher and Ruslan Ternowoi, while Italy's Simone Conte and Raffaele Pelligra took silver. In the women's individual event, Italy's Chiara Pellacani claimed gold, with Britain’s Yasmin Harper second and neutral athlete Nadjeshda Trifonowa third.
