Recent German television documentaries explore the shifting social and political landscape, focusing on structural changes and voter realignment.

One documentary, ‘Alles auf Zukunft – Sachsen-Anhalt im Umbruch’, examines how individuals in Saxony-Anhalt are navigating professional transitions. It highlights the challenges of the energy transition through the story of a wind turbine technician moving from coal mining, as well as the integration of foreign workers, such as a nurse from Albania facing bureaucratic hurdles in professional recognition.
