France police report multiple high-speed and dangerous driving incidents

French law enforcement has reported several significant traffic violations and incidents across various regions. In Perpignan, five police officers were injured after a driver refused to submit to a checkpoint, drove the wrong way on a highway, and reportedly struck police vehicles before fleeing on foot.

In Haute-Marne, a Ferrari was intercepted on the A31 motorway traveling at 190 km/h, which is 60 km/h above the limit. The driver had their license revoked immediately, and the vehicle was impounded.

Other notable incidents include a driver in Yonne caught using nitrous oxide while driving, discovered with 15 bottles of the substance, and a new driver in Jura caught speeding at 163 km/h only two weeks after receiving their license.

Authorities continue to emphasize strict enforcement and increased surveillance to ensure road safety and deter dangerous driving behaviors.
