German Dual-Training Graduations Honor 149 Memmingen and 7 Zell Students

A ceremony in the Aula of FOSBOS Memmingen marked the graduation of 149 students from the Johann‑Bierwirth‑Schule, with 38 receiving the Swabian government’s state prize for top grades. School principal Sandra Konzelmann, Mayor Michael Ruppert and IHK Schwaben deputy Gerhard Remmele praised the dual‑training system amid a regional skills shortage, while Robin Berger presented a business‑sector award and student Felix Hollburg was highlighted for his volunteer work.

In Zell, the Regens‑Wagner Berufsschule celebrated seven graduates of its preparatory year. The students showcased handcrafted wood and metal projects and outlined future career plans. Speeches by school director Annette Holtmeier, deputy Irene Gajda and class spokesperson Johanna Richter thanked teachers and families. Several graduates will continue training at the Zeller Werkstätten locations in Nürnberg or Zell.
