German educational forums to focus on AI integration in 2026

Upcoming educational conferences in Germany will focus on the integration of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and training.

The hAIgher Education Day 2026, scheduled for October 6, 2026, will be held in a hybrid format at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and online. Organized by the Higher Education Network for Digitalization of Teaching in Baden-Württemberg (HND-BW) and the Baden-Württemberg Higher Education Didactics Center (HDZ), the event aims to explore subject-specific AI application scenarios, methodological requirements, and the development of AI competencies in higher education.

Additionally, the Christiani Ausbildertag 2026 will take place in Rheine and Landsberg am Lech in late September and October 2026. This event addresses challenges in vocational training, such as skilled labor shortages and changing learning habits. Key topics include the impact of AI on training, strategic planning, and the importance of problem-solving and creativity. The program features workshops on machine learning and various forums for educators and HR professionals.
