German Evangelical Schools Host Project Weeks Emphasizing Culture and Creativity
From June 29 to July 3, 2026, the Evangelische Schule Spandau held its inaugural project week, offering roughly 650 students a choice of 30 workshops that included musical and theatre productions, acrobatics, bread baking, courtroom role‑play, cosmetics making, canoe polo and textile design. A school rap song was also created, and principal Paul Gohlke praised the event, saying, “That was an incredible project week. Many students tried new things and learned a lot.”
On June 18‑19, 2026, the Evangelische Johanniter‑Schulen in Wriezen organized interdisciplinary project days focused on Europe. Students represented ten countries—Italy, Spain, France, Poland, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, the Netherlands and England—through food stalls, national costumes, dances, songs, sketches and language games, highlighting teamwork and cultural exchange.
