German Fairy Tale Route launches MutMachMärchen series

The German Fairy Tale Route (Deutsche Märchenstraße) has introduced a new event series titled ‘MutMachMärchen’ (Courage-Making Fairy Tales). Launched at Grimmwelt Kassel, the initiative aims to use the timeless messages of fairy tales to provide people with courage and confidence.

Markus Exner, Managing Director of the German Fairy Tale Route, stated that the core messages of fairy tales are timeless and cross-cultural. The series is supported by Timon Gremmels, the Hessian Minister for Science, Research, Art, and Culture, who has taken on the patronage of the project.

The series includes various sessions, such as storytelling for children aged six and older designed to help navigate life transitions like starting school, as well as reflective sessions for adults. The town of Alsfeld, a member of the German Fairy Tale Route, will host specific dates at the Alsfelder Märchenhaus.
