Police across Germany and Switzerland conduct multiple crime operations

Law enforcement agencies across Germany and Switzerland have conducted various operations resulting in multiple arrests for different crimes.

In Germany, an international investigation involving Dutch and German police led to the arrest of four Dutch nationals in Amsterdam following ATM explosions in Oldenburg and Oer-Erkenschwick. Authorities seized explosives, tools, and dyed money. In Berlin, a suspect surrendered to police following a stabbing incident at the Dong Xuan Center, while other operations in Moabit led to searches for suspects involved in a knife attack.

Drug-related enforcement saw significant results: police in Regensburg seized kilograms of cannabis, hashish, and cocaine, leading to three arrests. In Halle, an eight-kilogram amphetamine seizure and other narcotics were found during searches of a suspect's residence. Additionally, police in Offenburg targeted a group suspected of large-scale drug trafficking.

Other incidents include the arrest of three Romanian nationals in Gossau, Switzerland, for a vehicle wash center burglary, and the detention of a Turkish family at the Swiss border for attempting illegal entry. Separately, German authorities are investigating an espionage case involving a former BND official accused of leaking classified documents to a foreign intelligence service.
