German firms launch new AI strategy and finance tools

Several German companies are introducing new frameworks and tools to help businesses integrate artificial intelligence into their corporate strategies and financial operations.

Adlon Intelligent Solutions GmbH has launched the 'Adlon AI Journey,' a systematic model designed to transition companies from uncoordinated AI use—often referred to as 'shadow AI'—to structured applications involving governance, Microsoft Copilot implementation, and process automation. Nikolaus Streich, Head of Application at Adlon, noted that the main challenge facing businesses is a lack of strategic orientation rather than the technology itself.

In the financial sector, Nexia GmbH is assisting companies in leveraging AI for financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Through its partnership with Lucanet, Nexia highlights the use of the 'Lucanet Lume' AI assistant and specialized AI agents. These tools are intended to automate routine tasks and provide natural language analysis, allowing finance teams to shift from traditional reporting to strategic management roles.
