German folk and metal bands release new music
German folk and metal music groups are releasing new material. The pagan and folk metal band Sagenbringer has released a new three-song EP titled ‘Sagendarium’ via the NoCut label. The compositions are themed around the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, featuring lyrical references to Middle-earth, including the Shire and Rohan.
Additionally, the folk-rock band Schandmaul is releasing a new studio album titled ‘Sternensegler’ through Napalm Records. This release marks a significant transition for the group, as it is their first album featuring new vocalist Till Herence, who replaces long-time frontman Thomas Lindner. Lindner, who will now focus more on keyboards, describes the new lineup as adding a fresh musical dimension to the band’s established sound.
