German football clubs undergo coaching changes
Several German football clubs are experiencing coaching transitions. In the Landesliga Südwest, TSV Gersthofen suffered a 0-1 defeat against FC Kempten following the recent appointment of Dmitrij Peil, who replaced Ajet Abazi. Despite showing tactical improvements and dominance in the second half, Gersthofen failed to convert six clear scoring opportunities, dropping into a relegation spot.
In another coaching shift, FC Hansa Rostock has appointed André Breitenreiter to replace Daniel Brinkmann. Brinkmann was dismissed after less than two years in the role following a significant loss to Viktoria Köln. Breitenreiter, who previously led SC Paderborn and Hannover 96 to success, faces the high-pressure goal of securing promotion to the 2. Bundesliga. His tenure began with a 3-2 victory against VfB Stuttgart II and a 1-1 draw against Rot-Weiss Essen.
