German football media covers Bundesliga developments and broadcasting trends

German football media and club developments are highlighted through recent coverage of sports broadcasting and Bundesliga news. The Sport1 talk show ‘FIROCKX Doppelpass’ is set to feature guests including Armin Veh, Marcus Scholz, Patrick Berger, Matthias Strohmaier, and Mario Basler to discuss current league issues.

Key topics for discussion include the dismissal of Eugen Polanski following Borussia Mönchengladbach’s loss to Freiburg, as well as the ongoing situation at Hamburger SV regarding Merlin Polzin.

Additionally, the evolution of football broadcasting is noted, specifically the decline of filming Bundesliga coverage in local pubs, such as the ‘11er’ in Augsburg, which has served as a TV studio for various formats in the past.
