German Galleries Launch Exhibitions by Happe & Fleig and Rainer Wölzl

The Galerie Schloss Neersen in Willich opened the joint exhibition "fluvial" on 15 October 2023, featuring painter Gisela Happe and sculptor Jáchym Fleig. The show blends transparent‑acrylic paintings with large‑scale installations that evoke natural forms and occupies the space with imagined organisms. The exhibition runs until 10 November 2023 and includes an introductory talk by art scholar Dr. Emmanuel Mir, with web‑based accessibility features such as easy‑language text and AI‑generated sign‑language videos.

The Käthe‑Kollwitz‑Museum in Berlin will present "Konstellationen", a solo show by Austrian artist Rainer Wölzl, from 6 June to 9 August 2026. Wölzl’s large charcoal drawings combine historic and contemporary visual sources into complex visual constellations that explore power structures, oppression and collective memory. Educational programmes, including a “Low‑Art” guided tour for adults, are scheduled during the run.
