German garden fairs in Rheinfelden and Iffezheim attract thousands of visitors

The IG Schildgasse trade fair in Rheinfelden ran from 27 to 29 March, featuring around 20 local businesses and guest firms offering home‑improvement products, garden furniture, kitchen appliances and live demonstrations such as Thermomix cooking shows and a showcase of garden‑room furniture.

The 21st Diga garden fair on the Iffezheim racecourse drew several thousand visitors despite temperatures above 30 °C. About 100 exhibitors from Germany, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands displayed plants, décor, garden accessories and high‑end items like a €10,000 whirlpool. Highlights included a tent‑sauna and a range of kitchen and outdoor equipment.

Both events served as seasonal showcases for homeowners and garden enthusiasts, providing product previews, expert advice and entertainment amid warm spring weather.
