German gastronomy sees new opening in Helmstedt and closure in Amberg
The German gastronomy sector sees both a new opening and a sudden closure. In Helmstedt, sisters Nicole and Marielu Farago have opened ‘La Famiglia’ at Markt 6. The establishment focuses on Calabrian street food, offering items such as pizza al taglio, arancini, panuozzi, and various pasta dishes. The concept emphasizes traditional family recipes and a ‘to-go’ model with limited seating.
Conversely, the restaurant ‘Oro di Napoli’ in Amberg has closed shortly after its opening. Owners Marco and Christina Lipoma, who launched the business in early June, ceased operations in early August due to family reasons. The closure follows their previous experience in the industry, which dates back to 2007.
