German gymnasts claim medals at national and Hessian championships

At the Hessian individual and synchronized trampoline championships in Limburg, the TV Schaafheim team earned a silver medal in the women's synchronized final and a bronze in the men's individual final. Young athletes such as Amy Lemon, Sarah John, Tino Frach and others posted strong performances, with several reaching finals in their age groups.

In Hannover, 18‑year‑old Silja Stöhr captured the German all‑around title with a decisive floor routine. Following her victory, national coach Gerben Wiersma named her to Germany’s squad for the European Championships in Zagreb (13‑16 August). The team will also include Karina Schönmaier, Helen Kevric, Lea Quaas and returning veteran Pauline Schäfer‑Betz. Stöhr highlighted her goal of qualifying for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
