German clubs begin 2026 preseason preparations

RSV Germania 03 kicked off its comeback season with a condensed training program that began on June 23. Coach Ben Talib scheduled three matches in a week, starting with a 7‑3 victory over Rot‑Weiß Walldorf III on June 30, where Max Meier opened the scoring and Mehmet Köroglu added a third before halftime.

Rhein‑Neckar Löwen held a press conference on July 21 in their Kronau training hall. Coach Maik Machulla praised the squad’s fitness and introduced five new signings, highlighting 19‑year‑old Niclas Mierzwa from the Swiss league and veteran French right back Kentin Mahé, both of whom impressed in early sessions.

Dynamo Dresden’s first‑team spent a summer camp in Windischgarsten, Austria, playing a series of test matches. The team recorded multiple 5‑0 wins, including a rout of Austrian side Grazer AK, with goals from Jonas Sterner, Niklas Remus, Niklas Hauptmann and others. The camp also featured a fan evening, youth activities and a group viewing of the World Cup final between Argentina and Spain.
