German handball features Bundesliga action and World Championship preparations

The German Handball Bundesliga features several key matchups, including a North Derby between THW Kiel and Handball Club Hamburg. Other scheduled games include HC Erlangen against MT Melsungen and Füchse Berlin against TBV Lemgo Lippe. While some matches, such as the Kiel vs. Hamburg game, are available via free streams, most Bundesliga coverage requires a subscription to Dyn Media.

In preparation for the upcoming Handball World Championship in Germany, DHB President Andreas Michelmann expressed optimism regarding ticket sales. Currently, approximately 75 percent of tickets have been sold, with a target of exceeding 90 percent. Michelmann noted that German venues typically maintain high attendance even during matches that do not involve the German national team.
